Rumours are in that WhatsApp could soon be updated with a 6 digit password protection feature. The information was spotted as part of a text translation
programme for WhatsApp which read: “Enter the current six-digit passcode:” & “Enter a recovery email address”. It’s also presumed that users will have a choice of whether to opt for a recovery email to the account in case they lock themselves out. It is unclear whether the password will be optional or not.
Well it is not confirmed it is all about the rumours.
